After a night of hard liquor the two of them embark on an ill fated adventure across the Gulf of Mexico in search of buried treasure, and in the process Eric learns a thing or two about family

On his way back to Los Angeles, Eric gets stuck in Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico and befriends a priest tormented over his love for a nun who is on the eve of taking her final vows. Eric plays matchmaker to the star crossed lovers in return for shelter and bus fare, and in the process learns a thing or two about love
